Norman Romero is a Cancer Support Specialist at Imerman Angels, an organization that provides peer to peer support to cancer fighters, survivors, previvors, and caregivers so that they can find comfort and understanding from someone who has been there. While working with Imerman Angels he has been able to speak with parents that have a kid going through cancer and he was able to hear first hand the difficulties that families have to be able to get treatment for their kids and that’s what motivated him to join the Compass to Care Associate Board. His mother was also diagnosed with multiple myeloma and that’s what drives his passion to support the cancer community.
