Is your change jar overflowing? Do you need more service hours? Never fear, Tag Days are near!
On Friday, April 21 & Saturday, April 22, Compass to Care will have volunteers spread throughout Park Ridge, Illinois with a can in hand, asking people for donations to help kids travel to cancer treatment.
How does it work? You will be assigned to a location with other volunteers. You will ask people who walk by if they would like to make a donation to help kids with cancer. That is it! Oh, but we should probably warn you, you will smile a lot, you may even laugh. You might meet some new people, and get to know your community a little better.
- Individuals, friends, or colleagues to volunteer
- Groups to get involved
- Anyone who needs service hours
- Families who want to volunteer together (Children under 18 are very welcome, but they must be accompanied by an adult)
- The more people we have volunteering, the more funds we will raise!
Fun Fact: It is called Tag Days because those who donate will be given a tag (sticker) to show their support.
So why not hang with your friends and do good at the same time? Last year’s volunteers had a great time and learned how generous people are when helping our kids travel to treatment!
